TGA is an international interpretation consultancy, based in Oxford

Tim Gardom - tim@timgardomassociates.com
For the last twelve years, Tim has acted as Creative and Content Director on a range of major museum and visitor centre projects in the UK and abroad.

He oversaw the creation of eleven interactive galleries at Thinktank Science Centre in Birmingham and Motorola’s Innovation Centre in Chicago. He also directed the largest multi-faith exhibition ever staged in Britain and was awarded an MBE for his work with the UK’s faith communities.

With huge experience in devising and delivering communication to visitors of all kinds within narrative environments, Tim works with top practitioners across disciplines that range from graphic design to screen-based interaction.

Alison Grey - alison@timgardomassociates.com
Alison has more than fifteen years of specialist experience in developing interpretive planning and content with museum teams. She holds a Public History MA from Ruskin College, Oxford and lectures for the Creative Practice for Narrative Environments MA course at Central St. Martins.

In 2006 her handbook on best practice for interpretive planning and scripting, Saying it Again, was published.

Mike Gardom - mike@timgardomassociates.com
Mike joined the TGA team in 2002, and specialises in developing the overall narrative themes into a range of specific storylines across graphics, film, interactives, live enabler interventions and other media.  He divides his work equally between our commercial work (product launches, conferences, experiential marketing) and cultural projects (museums, visitor centres, events).

Taissa Csáky – taissa@timgardomassociates.com
Taissa joined TGA in 2009 as a writer and content developer. She has worked on the National Waterways Museum, Ashmolean Museum and River and Rowing Museum. With a background in museum design (at Csáky Associates) and publishing for primary schools, she takes a special interest in clear communication and meeting the needs of the youngest museum visitors.

David Berry – david@timgardomassociates.com

David holds a DPhil in the History of Art from the University of Oxford. After two years researching and writing for an exhibit design firm (Bluestone + Associates) in Chicago, he returned to Oxford as a project curator involved in the redevelopment of the Ashmolean Museum. He did freelance work with TGA at the National Maritime Museum before joining the team as a researcher and writer in April 2010.

TGA works with a team of expert practitioners to turn each project into reality. Read about our long-term associates.
